Discovering spaces to build new inspiring modular homes.
We buy and develop unusual and awkward spaces in London. As Londoners, we believe that so much more can be done with unused spaces in our city. With intelligent design and creative thinking these unwanted or neglected spaces can become small yet beautiful homes for other Londoners.
That’s why we started Land Converters – to help make this happen by combining our experience in land surveying and property development with our love of intelligent design.
Paul worked within the creative industries for over 25 years before co-launching Land Converter. He previously founded and ran the award-winning creative agency pd3, which specialises in cultural marketing and works with leading UK and international brands such as O2, including the Memory Project and iconic architect and designer Jason Bruges and the Sony T5 project with renowned architectural design agency Nicolas Alexander. Paul sold the agency in 2013 and invested his business acumen and creative vision into his passion: combining original design with new processes, materials and technologies to transform unused spaces into beautiful and functional living spaces.
Philip has run his own businesses for the past 30 years. His career has been dedicated to great design. In the early 90s he founded a sneaker brand Acupuncture Footwear which sold in 40 countries, and he is a director of his wife’s international luxury fashion label Roksanda, which he helped launch in 2005. Working alongside award-winning architects, Philip has built two renowned houses in central London – The Lost House in Kings Cross by renowned architecture practice Adjaye Associates and the Cube House in Clerkenwell. He champions the technology which has made it far easier to create custom high-end, factory-built houses in steel and timber.
